October 1, 2012 I’m sending a two- book proposal to a publisher today. Tentative titles: Boundless and Immeasurable. The process could take months, but I’m praying it will attract the attention of the publisher and marketing people. The first of the two historical novels is virtually written, and I have a very accomplished editor to shape it up.
August 26,2016 A two book series about Dr. Katharine Bushnell is in the publishing process.Boundless, book one will be published December 1, 2016 by Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas. The Queen’s Daughters, is scheduled for publication on September 1, 2017.
October 17,2016 Katharine Bushnell’s story of courage and persistence to expose white slavery in America’s Midwest is nearing publication on Dec. 1, 2016. The title has been changed to Daughters of Deliverance— which focuses on the women and girls “Kate” struggled so hard to see released. She often reminded herself of Jesus’ mission which He read from the prophet Isaiah:
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me…to bring good tidings to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to bring deliverance to the captives.
November 4, 2016 Amazon has put Daughters of Deliverance into its book sales, but not available until December 1, 2016.
The Queen’s Daughters was released on September 1, 2017 as an ebook on Amazon as well as a paperback. The face on the striking cover is of an Indian young woman. her pensive face and thoughtful expression could be one of the “queen’s daughters,”- The girls living in the British cantonments for the pleasure of the soldiers, considered themselves daughters of Queen Victoria. They told Kate and Bess, “She would never want us to be treated like this.
The women bravely visit the chaklas (brothels) and write detailed reports of their findings for the Parliament back in London. And whenever she’s travelling or has time on her hands, Kate continues to study her Bible — to find proof that God didn’t intend for His daughters to be treated like this either.
